Good class but very hard.
Our main Sensei was in Las Vegas for a tournament so one of the assistant Sensei’s filled in for him. This Sensei is made of steel and pushes the class to their limits.
We did a lot of basics. Many moves in a row without much rest. We went through all to moves for the entire exam. Most of them felt good except for the inward block, elbow strike and back fist. Moving from the front stance to the horse stance is awkward for me.
We then went through one-step and I feel much better about that than I did before. I am finally able to shift far enough out of the way. Since I have been doing the new stretching routine I am able to cover more ground because my hips are more flexible.
We then finished up kata.
Good class!
