When doing a front leg kicks, tighten up the core area. This will keep the body upright and keep it from leaning forward or back. Movment with the upper body and shoulders will be minimized by doing so.

One each of Heian Shodan, Heian Nidan, Heian Sandan and Heian Yondan. three each of Heian Godan and Tekki Shodan. (10 total)

We did a lot of basics. One thing, before I forget, when we get into a front stance in his class, we put our back leg behind us and when we stand up, we also back up instead of moving forward when coming out of a stance.
Our Sensei showed us a different way to do the outward block which seems to be more of a strike instead of a block. Turning the wrist at the end is the key to this move being effective but I am still not totally sure if I really understand it.
We also did a good amount of kata.
